Mr. Virgil Eugene Wright, age 63 of Mineola TX, passed away onThursday, March 10, 2022. He was born on March 7,1959 inMineola, TX to Delois Brown Wright and the late Robert Wright Jr.Virgil (aka Hoggie) was born and raised in Mineola TX. Heattended Mineola school district. Later, became an employee ofMineola Packing Company until he was injured. He became amember of Sidney Temple C.O.G.I.C. at an early age. VirgilEugene had a big personality with an amazing way of bringing asmile to someone’s face.In fact, I am sure if you just took one second you could think ofsomething funny, he would say to make you laugh. Virgil also hada gift to repair automobiles and was a handy man in his own right.He loved quartets. In fact, he loved to sing as well. His uniquesense of humor and bold personality was infectious.He was preceded in death by his mother (Delois) & father (RobertWright Jr.), Brothers Lincoln Roy, Edward Charles Russell, BillyWayne, and Lawrence Lee.He is survived by his special friend, Nicole Harris of Tyler; Sisters,Cora & Jo Kathryn of Mineola; Brother Anthony Wright of Mineola,a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly. Healso had a good friend and cousin Mr. Steve Tave. Virgil loved hisfamily! Along with numerous other family and friends.
