Donna Mary Jackman

Donna Mary Jackman was born Thursday, May 8, 1947, in Monterey, CA to the late Sam Dean and Helen Brooks Dean. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Donna lived and worked a long career in Telecommunications, first with Pacific Bell and later with AT&T. She would retire after 30 years of service in 2004 in Los Angeles, CA. She continued to work another 10 years with Walmart and retired in 2015, in Mineola, TX.

Donna loved animals and enjoyed caring for her horse Cinco and her pet rabbit Big John. She loved fishing, going out to eat and cooking. She was a simple woman who appreciated the finer things in life. She loved to laugh. She was funny, smart and cool at the same time.

Donna remained unmarried but enjoyed life with her companion. Living a simple and peaceful life.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Jesse Dean, her ex-husband Louis J. Jackman Sr.

Left to cherish her memory her longtime partner Willie Bradley, her son Louis J. Jackman Jr., wife Tanya Lamarr-Jackman, siblings, Gloria McBee of Marina, CA; and Blondell Harraway of Haywood, CA; two grandsons, Kyle J. Jackman and Renalde A. Jett, great-grandson Rockwell S. Jett and a host of nieces, nephews. She was loved dearly by a host of other family and friends.
