Miss Della James was born in Mineola, Texas to the late Lonnie and Della James.
She attended school at McFarland in Mineola, Texas and later moved to Dallas, Texas at an early age.
Della is preceded in death by both parents Lonnie and Della James; brothers Billy Charles James, Jerry James, and Dalson James; sisters Florence James, Linda James and Minnie Sue Gunter.
She leaves to cherish brothers Dwight James (Sherri), Donald James, Carl James, Al James all of Mineola, Texas, and Harold James of Swan, Texas; sisters Marilyn (LM) of Dallas, Texas, and Kathy English of Quitman, Texas.
