The time has come to say farewell to our friend and classmate, Ava Nell. We have known her from first grade through high school and during her adult life. She will be missed as part of McFarland's class of 1961. Nell was always very quiet and reserved. I admired her for raising three very intelligent and dutiful sons who never left her side. We the remaining class of 1961, Florence, Dorothy, Shirley, Billy Earl, Matthew, James R. and Harold extend our sincere condolences to Patrick, Eric, and Darvin and the entire family in the loss of Nell. May the love of God sustain you.
