Dear Uncle Lovorn,You always had a beautiful smile which would light up any room :). Your wonderful spirit and giving heart were always appreciated by all who knew you. I always loved talking to you about my mom and your visits to Los Angeles. "There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington IrvingWe all love you, dear uncle! You will definitely be missed! Rest assured we will see you again in heaven!Love, Jan, Arianna and D'Ari

Death is not a dark journey into the unknown. It is not a lonely walk into a strange and friendless place. Rather, it is a glorious transition from the trials of earth into the joys of heaven, where we will be reunited with Uncle Lovorn in Christ Jesus who have gone before. Best of all, we will enjoy the presence of our Lord forever. yes, when a believer dies, the body is buried but not the soul. It has ascended! When the spirit is set free; to be absent from the body means to live, O Lord with Thee!
RIP Uncle Lovorn
